Haven

Haven offers a variety of outside of the box opportunities for you and your family. While we offer traditional clinical outpatient counseling and access to other counselors and coaches that we trust, we also are bringing to life new services to include: intensives, retreats, classes, workshops, and trainings. You will find a list of these current offerings on our events page.

Outpatient Clinical Counseling

Traditional clinical sessions that are an hour long in length. We provide highly trained, specialized, experienced, licensed therapists for this option. Inquire or schedule with our licensed therapists.

Thematic Counseling Intensives and Retreats

These are one day or multi - day events for your family or small group held at one of our farm locations, beginning with our Mercer, PA location in 2026.

Themes will change from year to year, 2026 intensives and retreats can be scheduled on our events page. Details for the events can be found here as well. If your family or group will be coming in from out of the area, we will work with you to find a quality AirBnB, VRBO, Bed & Breakfast or quality hotel in our area.

Individualized Intensives and Retreats

These are intensive counseling or retreats that are built around the needs of your family. We will do an intake session with you, and then schedule time to work with your family exclusively for 1-2 days at a time to go deeply into the trauma you have experienced and work to heal wounds that are difficult to get to in a traditional 1 hour a week counseling format. Intensives can be scheduled in our client portal.

Webinars, Classes, Workshops, Groups

Haven will be working to provide psychoeducational courses for you.

Our existing group for kids and families will be returning on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10am - 12 pm as Haven Family Community and will continue to meet on the first Saturday of each month online, with in person events throughout the year.

We will be bringing you resources for family life, including KidsRQ Equipping Kids for Life by Josh and Christi Straub as well as collaboration with Capable Kids to bring you TBRI interventions in future groups.

Animal - Assisted and Experiential Therapy

Haven currently employs our very own dogs within clinical sessions with Jennifer Thumm and will be expanding to equine and other animal assisted therapies in the near future.
